Cork Co beekeepers get a certificate of Excellence for their work with beekeepers in the Cork area.
Cork Food Policy Council recently held its awards night at the council chamber in City Hall. The event was sponsored by Musgraves/Supervalue and there were 36 different groups in the running on the night in various categories from sustainable food gardens in schools to new food businesses.
This is the second year the sustainable food awards have been run and the Cork beekeepers were recognised for their part in sustainable Cork.
